Microentrepreneurship and Asset Building: One Stop

Produced Start Up SF event at the HUB in October of 2011 & Diversity in Tech in February 2012 with City Assessor Phil Ting. We did extensive outreach with HUB, Reset SF, Black Founders, Latino Start Up Alliance, SBA, SBDC, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment, Urban Solutions, Working Solutions San Francisco Foundation and the Mayor’s Offices of Small Business and Economic Development to enlist their help without reach & participation for the events. Community attendees identified their needs for a walk up One Stop Center for microentrepreneurship and small biz. They were happy to see that they were give opportunity to be seen as entrepreneurs, small biz owners and be given an opportunity to build a business in their neighborhood rather than being look at as clients and misfits.

Here at CC, we interviewed and helped teams to better understand various segments of Mid-Market residents. From the interview we develop this project to answer the communities request for business and financial services.
